KK Selection

momo has linked me to her blog....so I am compelled to blog more about KK!!!!!!!(muahahahaha....just kenna suaned that anyone reading my blog will have absolutely no idea I am a KK fan......that bad meh???)

Oh yes yes yes....Kinki is holding their 10th Anniversary concert in Tokyo Dome on 7/22. One show only, tickets at 3,900 yen ( 39=thank you!). Tickets limited to 2 per fan club member. I will be giving the concert a miss though. Its a pity. Hope they announce more shows later.

Anyway, they are releasing their anniversary album - 39. ( My order with CDJapan currently stands at 7 copies......they should give me a prize or what?)

Earlier on, they had a Fans selection of 10 fav songs questionaire. I din take part but I made a mental note of my own 10 songs. As expected, my selection was okay from the Fan selection disc (hit of 4 songs). It was very far off from Kouchan's selection (only hit 1 song) . Not surprisingly, it was pretty close to Tsuyoshi's selection (hit 5 songs).

5.to Heart (I love the violin intro and when they sang it at the anniversary con, I was shocked at how much their voices and performing styles have changed. This was the dorama closing theme that introduced me to Tsuyoshi.)

7.春雷 (MOST underated of KK's songs. Its a relatively under-performed C/W from their single release. Heck....I cannot even remember which single it was, but I loved this C/W. When they performed a live rock band version of it ( the only one time they ever performed this), I was stunned at how ah-beng this song sounded. Fell in love with it immediately. But I think it appeals only to small number of fans due to the very 芭辣 nature of the song. So uncool!)
8.君のためのうた
9.青の時代 (Love this one coz I am always reminded of the image of both Tsuyo and Kouchan on the high lift pedestal looking downwards when they were singing this song in the concert. Dunno why at the anniversary con, it reduced me to tears.)

Jacqueline du Pré In Portrait

周末淘到宝了 - Jacqueline du Pré In Portrait DVD。虽然indies方面很不行，不过hmv的古典乐部门还是不赖滴！

这张dvd我找了好久。除了elgar的cello concerto， 还收录了 Beethoven - Ghost Trio 和有点搞笑的Shubert piano quintet - The Trout。DVD也收录了杜普蕾的一些生活片断，包括后期病发却依旧对音乐事业积极万分的影像。

The Elgar Cello Concerto – 很喜欢杜普蕾的大提琴。很喜欢头4个和弦。很喜欢杜普蕾方佛倾注全部生命般的演绎。那种把全部生命灌入音乐里的力量感动了我。

能够真正了解乐曲最隐藏的message并把它带给大家，除了杜普蕾还有谁？

虽然不能说后无来者，不过杜普蕾肯定是前无古人。

The Elgar Cello Concerto 和 Jacqueline du Pré是等号， 是生命共同体。
Elgar在写这首concerto的时候可能万万想不到后来会有个10来岁的小女生把他这首描述战争悲哀的乐曲演绎到如此地步。

DVD全片黑白，收录了私底下杜普蕾很普通的生活。不外就是和几个音乐上很要好的朋友玩即兴live。。。对，你没有看错，真得很类似jamming一样。古典音乐也有它顽皮的一面，只不过看你是以如何的心情对待它了。乖乖不得了，再看看和杜普蕾一起玩jamming的家伙 – Zubin Mehta, Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, Daniel Barenboim，哪个不是后来在古典音乐坛上举足轻重的人物？再看看他们年轻时一起玩音乐的片断，特别感动。现在都是被供奉在神台的人物，以前也有过如此青葱岁月。他们5个人竟然把自己命名为The Kosher Nostra， 玩得最出色最好笑就是Shubert Trout Quintet。。。。怎样，很前卫吧？嗯。。。哪个时候，他们应该是很前卫很疯狂的一群人。

杜普蕾几乎是用自己的生命来爱elgar的cello concerto。 到了病发后期，行动不便的杜普蕾还忙着口述这首影响她大半生的乐曲的不同演绎方式和指法，只为了让她的学生更容易领悟到这其中的奥妙。这股用全部生命来专注于一首concerto的执著，怎能不感动人心？She is beautiful。

Wished i had the opportunity to watch her, but then again, I have come to accept the fact that there will be so many lives or performances you want to watch but reality is, you never do have the chance to do so. Happiness then is, at least in your lifetime, you have gotten to know this band or performer or musician. You appreciate their stuff, it makes a bloody impact on you......that is sufficient and I should be satisfied. Anything more would be a bonus.

双皮炖奶

BH特别推介 – 双皮炖奶（和义顺牛奶公司的有6成相似哦！！！！！）

由于新加坡吃不到香港义顺牛奶公司的双皮炖奶，所以我决定亲自动手！
在尝试了很多网络上的做法之后，觉得这个其实不错。。。。可能和顺牛奶公司的相似度也有个60%左右，所以在此特别介绍给各位街坊！

材料:
牛奶250ml,1个鸡蛋,适量白糖,两个碗,一个奶锅,一个打蛋器(如果你手部肌肉发达到像我这样，这个可免！)

简单步骤:
1.将牛奶倒入奶锅中,用小火煲。
2.将加工好的牛奶倒在事先准备好的碗里,放在一边,等至冷却. （冷却后的牛奶上面会有一层皮。。。就是双皮中的第一层皮了）
3.这个时候，将蛋青单独放在另一碗里打至起泡酥软。我用叉子打的,打到稍微起泡就可以,(别打到起大白沫。。。我们不是作蛋糕！)在打蛋清之前可以加入白糖打匀即可.
4.接下来看牛奶了,如果凉了,那我们继续. 把牛奶倒入蛋清的碗中，记住那层牛奶皮不要弄破，把它留在原本的碗里。然后,把牛奶和蛋清混合一样,再那么打一下.这个时候你还可以检验一下自己放白糖到底够量了没有,舔一下筷子尖,感觉一下味道,如何?
5.将这碗牛奶加蛋清的混合物重新倒回有奶皮的碗内.倒的时候要尽量慢，这样奶皮就不会弄破而且会慢慢的浮上来。
6.开大火烧半锅水,待水滚后,把碗放入锅中,小火隔水蒸15-20分钟。（蒸的时候，双皮就出现了！）

双皮炖奶大功告成！

当然比起铺子里卖的有差啦。。。不过我们这边不是香港，双皮炖奶没那么普遍，就算有也没牛奶公司那么好吃。自己做，其实是满好玩的。

尝试了好几篇，有几个小窍门，不妨和大家分享一下：
首先是牛奶。一定要选择好的全脂牛奶，那些什么瘦身脱脂牛奶全都不行。炖奶用的牛奶一定要够浓够香。牛奶质量好的话，奶皮在第4个步骤的时候，就不会那么容易破掉。我建议某日本超市的北海道入口牛奶。。。不过价格有点贵！牛奶在煮时，一定一定要用小火而且尽量不要走开，因为牛奶很容易滚泄。蒸的时候也要注意,如果在碗上盖一层保鲜膜,蒸气就不会滴落，炖奶表皮就能保持光滑哦!!!这个很重要，不要忘记。 还有就是，打蛋清的时候一定要往同一个方向打，譬如一开始是顺时钟方向就不要半途换逆时钟咯！如果怕牛奶和蛋清的味道，可以加些姜汁，味道不错的说。

Visual Rock infiltrates local dance workshop

Filmed during one of the local dance workshop pratices.

Performance and choreography by BJ. Check out the costume…kinda cool. It has like a couple of armholes and the dancer can create diff effects by sticking his/her hand through the diff holes or pulling the costume all over.

Pretty dark theme revolving around ghosts and the underworld.

Does the music sound kinda familiar?
Yap…parts of it are supplied by yours truly. Taken from Malice Mizer (which Vrock fan could have missed it right...the style is so Mana!) mainly plus a mixture of Madeth’ll Gray and Death Gaze. Boys these days just dun make music like their predecessors do, such a shame really, all these cutesy popstar wannabe camouflaging as rockers.....muah hahaha!

I say…the music rocks man!!!!! ( BJ....of course the dance is cool too)
