ブロードウェイ・ミュージカル『PIPPIN』に、相葉弘樹さんがご出演します！
『PIPPIN』

フランク王国の国王・カール大帝の王子・ピピンが、偉大な父による栄光ではなく、「自らの手で勝ち取る栄光」を求めて、戦争、そして、政治へと身を投じていく物語。戦争と政治に加えて、恋愛要素ももちろんある、シリアスな史劇だと思う。ドリライでもらったチラシには、相葉くんの名前がトップに書かれていたのだけど、主人公のピピンを相葉くんが演じるの？ だったら、すごくすごく嬉しい!
相葉will be starring in the Japanese remake of the Broadway Musical Pippin. Pippin is about a prince who is looking to find that "special thing" in his life. The musical chronicles how Pippin goes through different stages of his life, looking for an alternative career (??!) besides being a prince or king. The Musical potrays the darker side of palace intrigues through the strained relationship between Pippin and his father the tyrannical King Charlemagne, his stepmother and the dimwitted son Lewis. Pippin falls for her stepmother's ploy and kills King Charlemagne, afterwhich Pippin acends the throne. Mass petitions countrywide lobbied for Pippin to be ousted and Pippin finds himself turning into a tyrant like his father whom he had so despised. Disheartened, Pippin leaves the castle and starts a wandering life, meeting Catherine, a simple lady, who teaches Pippin about the virtues of leading a simple life.
If timing is right ( together with the whole host of 10th anniversary stuff, keli live etc), I hope to catch this one.

Based on a manga, the movie is about the relationship between Art School undergrad 深水ノボル, 早瀬耕平 and 深水ノボル's twin brother リュウ. ノボルis a quiet guy who very much keeps to himself and does not like coming into contact with anyone. 耕平 on the other hand is a happy chap, madly in love with his girlfren and enjoying every minute of his university life. Their paths cross when 耕平 almost drowned and was saved by ノボル. 耕平was extremely grateful to ノボル and both guys start to warm up to each other and become frens. 耕平chances upon ノボル's identical twin リュウone nite and was shocked to discover the dark past and trauma whichノボル and リュウ had been through.
In a nutshell, ノボルとリュウには、悲しい秘密があった。
映画は3青年の友情と再生を描く物語！
斉藤工はミステリアスなノボルと双子の兄リュウの二役を演じ分け，河合龍之介は早瀬耕平という難しい役どころに挑戦している。。。面白い！実は仲良しな二人、この作品をどんなふうに捉えて演じたのかーーーーー？？？？大期待！
Maybe I will just wait for the DVD la.......... unless it falls right smack into my Hokkaido trip.

Men & Man was shown last winter accompanied with some rave reviews. 斉藤工will be playing the leadrole 銀次for this re-run. (He played ツトム during the last season. That's like the 2nd lead role.)
How? I was told this one is really worth watching.......orz.......I really need to plan my schedule. Of coz Keli takes centrestage, but I need to see how the rest can fall nicely around it. Painful, worse than 5 yr roadmap planning at work.
(Video has absolutely nothing to do with this post. This is a duet for tenimyu 冰帝学院2005-2006。 Duet made up of kazuki's 氷のエンペラー and U 部长's 油断せずに行こう。Each song is the main character theme song for that season of Tenimyu. Dun say U 部长and Kazuki cannot sing. They are actually a lot better than some of the boys out there. BTW, that is D-boys 城田優lor, half spanish so looks a bit angmoh! ....orr, coz someone was asking me 他是什么东东!)
