The best way to make the little one happy on her birthday is to give her something pink and a big character birthday cake of her fav disney character!
Its was supposed to be a small affair with kids from her church and playschool joining us, but poor Grace was struck with HFM (hand foot mouth) disease last Thursday!!!!!!!!!Yap, all dotty inside her mouth and she was unable to eat solid foods since then. We had to call off the entire birthday party coz HFM is extremely contagious. Grace also had to be separated from her sister Samantha for a while. Anyway, we went ahead with a small family gathering coz we wanted to cheer up the grouchy little one who was.....well, very very irritable.
I never quite got the kids' fascination with character cake thingy, I guess its just me. Anyway, Grace had to have her fav SNOW WHITE!!!!!! character cake (you guys out there....stop the sniggering!). Its fun to see her eyes light up at the cake despite not being able to eat anything. At least, she was a little less grouchy and nicely took her afternoon nap after we cut the cake (I luv the feel of slicing the knife across Snow White's head.... muah hahaha!)

Right now, I wouldn't really mind a Geki ranger character cake (geki red) or Rio-sama character cake... although i prefer the real person anytime!

cute hor the little one (I mean, the xiao meimei, not yuu).She usually very cheerful but because of HFM< she din have much facial expression, coz everytime her mouth moves, it aggravates the ulcers in it.

aiyo the xiao meimei very kawaisou leh. doctor say she nid how long for recovery huh? kodomo kena HFM very jialat one leh! that time i got one or 2 cousins kena b4, so kawaisou loh...get well soon manz!
